Matthew 6:19-21 speaks on not storing riches for yourself on Earth but to store them in heaven so that they won’t be destroyed or stolen because your heart will always be where your riches are, roughly paraphrasing. Most people are only concerned about achieving riches in the carnal sense and don’t fully understand what it means to store their treasures for the kingdom to come, which is the throne of David being established after the return of our Lord, Yahawashi, who the world falsely calls Jesus Christ.
I’d been in and out of Christian Baptist churches since the age of nine, and for almost forty-four years since being baptized, I had no understanding of the Bible and learned very little from the various pastors who I’ve listened to on many Sundays. The pastors who I’ve encountered over the years would essentially preach the same message week after week―in due season you shall reap a harvest from God―and the deacons would pass around the collection plates afterward. Subsequently, the congregation would leave the church feeling good but learning nothing.
My life didn’t get any better until I came into this truth a few years ago. I began to receive the knowledge of the scriptures once I started listening to the elders and apostles of Great Millstone back in 2019, and I’ve realized that nothing is more important than this ministry as any other worldly endeavors that I pursued or dreams that I chased were all in vain at the end of the day. Our salvation hinges on spreading the gospel, and in turn, my job is to pick up the plow and do the work, which is to use my gift of writing to add to the body of the Lord’s ministry. I do this by sharing the knowledge that I’ve acquired from GMS with the new members of the hopeful elect via this blog. All praise, honor, and glory go to Yahawah Bahasham Yahawashi.
