Zechariah 13:8 says: And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. The LORD speaks about the majority of Israel being destroyed on Judgment Day and a remnant scarcely being saved. This wasn’t a Bible verse that was taught in the church I attended growing up as it isn’t a topic that people would readily want to discuss. More than likely, it’s a topic that would clear out a church on any given Sunday rather than fill up the collection plates. Nevertheless, most of us in this truth pray to be a part of the remnant who will be saved, and we’re all prisoners of hope at the end of the day.

The question of the day is: Who are the two thirds of Israel prophesied to be cut off from the LORD and die? According to the Bible, thieves, adulterers, idolaters, fornicators, etc. won’t inherit the kingdom of God as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:9. It’s a safe bet that the majority of Israelites as well as the majority of people in America fall under this category, and many believe that they’re in good standing with the LORD in spite of breaking many of the laws, statues, and commandments found in the Torah.

Do you have to be perfect in keeping the laws, statues, and commandments of the LORD? The answer is no, but that doesn’t give people the license to do whatever they want as if the laws were done away with altogether. You still have to keep the laws to the best of your ability even though the Mosaic law was fulfilled through Yahawashi, who’s falsely called Jesus Christ. It’s a scary proposition to think that I won’t survive the nuclear destruction that’s coming to America, and that’s why I, as well as every single Israelite in this truth, should try to work out his or her own salvation with fear and trembling while we’re still under the grace and mercy of the Lord (Philippians 2:12).
