Isaiah 19:14-15 says: The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do. In addition to America being the spiritual Babylon of modern times, it’s also a spiritual Egypt in accordance to what the Bible is saying. The LORD has unleashed a perverse spirit in the western world, particularly the United States, and the leaders of the nation are systematically destroying this country from within.

The beginning stages of self-checkout began in 1984, but this concept wasn’t widely accepted until almost three decades later as the convenience and seamlessness of technology started to outweigh any initial concerns shoppers might’ve had. Self-checkout became mainstream in retail stores like CVS and Walmart and in every major grocery store chain in the country, and this, in turn, began to eliminate jobs at the retail sector of the economy.

AI is the next wave of technology that will ultimately eliminate more jobs soon. I recently went through the drive-thru of this hamburger chain called Checkers, and it had AI take my order. When I drove up to the window to pay, there was one cashier taking the money and one other employee cooking the food. This implementation of new technology has cut at least one job because one cashier could now focus on taking payments at the window as well as on the inside while AI does one-third of the heavy lifting. AI technology won’t stop at the retail or food sectors and will eventually affect all sectors of the economy. Soon, there will be no jobs, and Jacob’s Trouble will kick into high gear.
