2 Esdras 16:14-20 says: Behold, the plagues are sent, and shall not return again, until they come upon the earth. The fire is kindled, and shall not be put out, till it consume the foundation of the earth. Like as an arrow which is shot of a mighty archer returneth not backward: even so the plagues that shall be sent upon earth shall not return again. Woe is me! woe is me! who will deliver me in those days? The beginning of sorrows and great mournings; the beginning of famine and great death; the beginning of wars, and the powers shall stand in fear; the beginning of evils! what shall I do when these evils shall come? Behold, famine and plague, tribulation and anguish, are sent as scourges for amendment. But for all these things they shall not turn from their wickedness, nor be always mindful of the scourges.

The prophet Esdras also known as Ezra received this vision of famine, death, plagues, and destruction from the LORD and was worried how he’d survive at the end of days, thus proving that he knew of reincarnation and that he’s currently back here in the earthly realm somewhere. What sparked me to write this post was the fact that there’s presently so much happening in the U.S.―record heat in the Midwest and Northeast, flooding in northern Iowa due to a levee break, and the mass shooting in an Arkansas grocery store, for example―yet the majority of people still conduct themselves as if things are completely normal and aren’t taking heed to the sign of the times. They don’t understand that one thousand years to us is like a day to the LORD, and in their minds, they’re free to do as they please and don’t fear HIS inevitable judgment.

Americans are some of the proudest people on the planet and won’t repent like the passage says above―people shall not turn from their wickedness and aren’t mindful of the scourges, roughly paraphrasing. Most people don’t realize how close we are to Yahawashi’s return because they think that it won’t happen in our lifetime. We’re on the brink of World War III as the government is preparing to implement the military draft, the famine of the Word is quickly approaching because laws are currently being passed to threaten our freedom of speech, and a mandatory RFID microchip aka Mark of the Beast will be implanted in the hands or foreheads of almost every human being on Earth as stated in Revelation 13:16 in order to buy or sell goods and services in the near future.

We’ve also become desensitized to people getting shot and killed in the streets on a regular basis―I still remember how the city of Chicago mourned the death of superstar basketball player Ben Wilson who got shot near Simeon high school in the mid-eighties, and I remember a comrade of mine from college getting shot to death on summer break while looking for a place to park at a house party in the same area. The climate of the country was much different back then than it is now as violence is now at an all-time high in Chicago, and the general public seemed to have more compassion and respect for one another back in the day.

Nevertheless, it’s all about having a contrite spirit at the end of the day, but most seem to be unaware of their sins and won’t pray for forgiveness. Christians walk around as if they’re already saved and won’t have to go through Jacob’s Trouble. However, no one is guaranteed salvation and a reservation on the chariots or so-called UFOs on the dreadful day when nuclear missiles will annihilate America pursuant to Malachi 4:1, and the opportunity to repent is gone just like in the days of the Great Flood when the LORD shut the door of the ark and everyone else drowned except Noah and his family.
